Terms & Privacy

Welcome to Xecurion. By accessing and using our website (the “Site”) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods by Xecurion (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“the Customer”, “you”) via our website. Our store operates within the Republic of South Africa and is governed by South African law.

2. Product Information and Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rands (ZAR) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable. While we strive to ensure that all product descriptions, specifications, and prices are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will notify you and give you the option of reconfirming your order or canceling it.

3. Ordering and Payment
By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product subject to these terms. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
We utilize secure, encrypted, third-party payment gateways to process transactions. We do not store your credit card or banking details on our servers. Goods will only be dispatched once full payment has cleared in our account.

4. Shipping and Delivery
We offer nationwide delivery across South Africa. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, rather than the date of order. We are not liable for any delays caused by courier companies, strikes, or unforeseen natural events (including severe weather). Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery of the items to the courier.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Warranties
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa:

  • Cooling-off Period: You may return unused, unopened products in their original packaging within 7 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding return shipping costs).
  • Defective Goods: All TP-Link Tapo cameras supplied by Xecurion are covered by the official local manufacturer’s warranty. If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, please contact us to initiate a return, repair, or replacement.
  • Physical damage, lightning/surge damage, or damage caused by incorrect installation or misuse are strictly excluded from the warranty.

6. Legal Use of Security Equipment
By purchasing security cameras and surveillance equipment from Xecurion, you agree to use these products in compliance with all applicable South African privacy laws. Xecurion accepts no liability for the illegal or unauthorized use of surveillance equipment, including but not limited to the recording of individuals without consent in areas where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists.

7. Limitation of Liability
Xecurion shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or website, including but not limited to data loss, property theft, or damages resulting from power surges or load shedding.
